(headquartered in Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Shigeki Nakamura, President; hereinafter “Tendagames”) has supported the creation of a new course for a drone racing game set in the Gunma Prefectural Office, currently being offered on the Yamada Game game platform operated by Yamada Denki Co. (headquartered in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture; Zaitake Sano, President; hereinafter “Yamada Denki”), a leading provider of games on the “Yamada Game” gaming platform. The new course is playable on the “Spatial” metaverse platform, and offers the experience of flying a drone through a racing space that is a high-definition 3D reproduction of the Gunma Prefectural Office building.
In addition, an upcoming update will add a new “time ranking” feature that will allow players to compete against players from around the world. We hope that many people will enjoy this new drone racing game that offers an even more exciting racing experience.

About this initiative to digitally communicate the attractions of Gunma Prefecture
Yamada Denki is hosting an eSports tournament called “YAMADA Cup eSports” starting in 2019 as part of its regional promotion activities utilizing its own store network, in addition to its regional contribution activities in Gunma Prefecture, where its headquarters is located. Focusing on drone racing games as a new game genre, with the approval and cooperation of Tomioka City in Gunma Prefecture, we are releasing a drone racing game on September 24, 2024, which will be set in the World Heritage site of Tomioka Silk Mill.
Meanwhile, Gunma Prefecture, as part of its regional revitalization efforts utilizing digital technology, aims to create a new flow of people and value by “realizing a digital prefecture that is among the most advanced in Japan. Yamada Denki agrees with this policy of Gunma Prefecture, and as an effort to provide an opportunity for people not only in and outside of the prefecture but also from all over the world to get to know “Gunma Prefecture,” we planned to recreate the Gunma Prefectural Office in a digital space and make it a new course for a drone racing game.
